Adopt a Dog

Adopt a Dog & Feel the Love Only They Can Give

Adopt a dog today! We want the best homes for the rescue dogs in our care. If you work full time, we will not consider a puppy or a dog who needs further training. We are their voice, so we will choose the home we feel is best for every one of the rescue dogs up for adoption, which includes a variety of different breeds, of all shapes and sizes. We want someone home during the day permanently. Puppies and even younger dogs require that sort of attention.

***Owning a dog is not just a privilege, it’s a responsibility. They depend on us for (at minimum) food and shelter and deserve much more. When you take a dog into your life, you need to understand the commitment that dog ownership entails.

Thank you for asking about our amazing dogs and for understanding about the adoption process. Your completed application (must be completed on a computer, not a phone) is the first step in meeting any of our dogs.  Decisions about adoptions are final.

Sydney

Little Sydney had to be turned into a shelter as her family had too many dogs and the landlord told them to downsize or leave. Very sad and happens way too often, but now Sydney will be coming to us and we will find her a family who has time, room, finances, LOVE and a yard to run and play in. Sydney is about a year old and might be a Corgi mix, but we are just guessing. :) What we do know is this 20 lb. little girl is a love who plays so well with other nice dogs and deserves a family of her own to adore her. She will return that love tenfold. Sydney should come to us mid May and we can take applications now so if you know how special having a pet truly is and what a privilege it is to share your life with one, please apply online. Thank you.

Ernie

Little Ernie was saved as part of a large hoarding situation, where the dogs were in pens outside with little interaction with humans other than food and water given. We left Ernie at his foster home for almost 8 months so he would learn how to live in a home, become housebroken, and know that there are wonderful loving people who would make him happy. Ernie is arriving late Sunday, 5/31 and will be very scared and confused. We have a volunteer based rescue with wonderful kind people and we will help him but this is another change he will have to endure. Ernie needs a family who understands it will take him a little time to feel comfortable, but there is not a mean bone in his little body. Ernie's family should be people where someone is home a lot of the day to help him adjust and feel safe and loved. He needs patience, as all new pets in the family deserve and require, and it is a small price for us to pay for a lifetime of love and devotion they will give us in return. Ernie is housebroken and good with other nice little pups and he deserves way more than he has received, but that will change. Will you be the person who Ernie will love and trust? Please apply online.

Hank

Hank is a puppy about 7 months old and he is a happy and wonderful pup. He is now up to date on shots and of course neutered and microchipped. Hank loves other nice dogs and he is almost full grown and will be a medium size adult dog. Hank is looking for a family to help him adjust to life in a home and he deserves time and patience and will return your commitment to him with a lifetime of unconditional love. Hank loves running and playing in a nice safe yard and would be good with another nice dog. If you have the time and patience and a kind heart who understands these animals just need a chance to shine, please apply for Hank. These dogs all blossom into the best family pets when they have a chance, please, will you be the one who give Hank that opportunity?
